Gibson Custom Shop CME 1963 SG Special Reissue Pelham Blue Murphy Lab Ultra Light Aged 2020
Man these Custom SGs just can’t be beat! This relic is really perfect! I think this might be the best looking Murphy Checking I have had through! The CME Murphy Job is really a more distressed look and I dig it!
There’s just something about this neck and fingerboard that really is next level. The ‘61 Specs have been followed meticulously and she really does play amazingly. Neck measures .82 on first and .91 at twelfth.
The CME Gibson P90 Pickups are responsive and articulate. She is bright and smooth on the bridge pickup and warm and clear on the neck. Of course this babe sounds just CREAMY!
This is truly a rock and roll machine!
Electronics work perfectly and she sounds fantastic. Completely stock. No issues with truss! Looks to have never been turned.
Neck is straight as an arrow and she is setup real nice right now. Action is low and fast. No fret wear at all.
She’s in MINT CONDITION given that she’s got that classic Murphy Lab Relic’d VOS finish.
She comes in Original Gibson Custom Hard Case with COA and all the paperwork.
